(1) Electrostatic sand planting belt and gravity (mechanical) sand planting belt

Electrostatic sand planting belt uses the principle of high-voltage electrostatic adsorption to polarize and absorb abrasives, and embeds them into the adhesive layer on the surface of the substrate in its own long axis direction, thus forming a neatly arranged and evenly distributed abrasive layer.

Gravity sand planting (also known as mechanical sand planting) uses the weight of the abrasive to fall freely from a certain height and embed it in the adhesive layer on the surface of the substrate, forming an abrasive layer. Using this method to plant sand, the direction of the abrasive is uncertain, and in most cases, it is in a "collapsed" state.


The cutting ability of this type of abrasive belt cutting edge is relatively poor, so the grinding efficiency and processing surface quality are not as good as electrostatic sand planting sand belts, and controlling the density of sand planting is also more difficult.
